Buck’s Pocket State Park
Buck’s Pocket is a 2,000 acre canyon located in the northeast corner of the state, nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
Take a horseback ride on 6 miles of trails to enjoy the beautiful views of with the area’s rich woodlands and vistas that can be seen here.
Horse camping is allowed in the primitive camping area. Amenities include tables, grills, shelters, laundry, and comfort station. There are no corrals are stalls here so you’ll need to highline.
When you get to Bucks Pocket the road will split, keep to the left.
