This popular horse and mule friendly campground is located on the northern edge of the South Warner Wilderness giving you easy access to the wilderness area.

What to Expect

• There are tables and fire grates at each campsite.
• Corrals
• Restrooms
• Trailers and campers up to 25 feet can be accommodated.

Rules and Regulations

• Land Manager = Modoc National Forest
• This campground is a first-come first-served area.
• The campground opens as weather permits; usually early July to late October.

From Alturas, head east 13 miles on County Road 56 to the Modoc National Forest Boundary. The number changes to Forest Service Road 31/ Parker Creek Road. Continue 6 miles on Road 31 to the campground entrance road on the right.
