What To Pack On Your Bike
When I take the bike out I try to carry all
of the following items.
 Things to take
riding:

Things that are definitely recommended
before riding:
-
Bike shorts
-
A
Camelbak-type product to carry both
water and gear
-
Spare tube
-
A quality mini-pump (My Blackburn has been
good to me)
-
Tube patch kit
-
Minitool (I carry a
Topeak) - with Spoke Wrench,
Chain-Breaker tool, and Tire levers)
-
Gloves - I like
Manzellas

Other things that I've carried in my pack:
-
Handi wipes - makes cleaning hands easy for
repairs or first aid
-
Small alcohol pads - good to clean tubes for
patches and are nice for first aid
-
Some form of ID
-
Cell phone - Make sure it's
ICED
-
Small first aid kit
-
Zip-ties in assorted sizes
-
A couple feet of duct tape (just fold it
around itself for a nice compact package)
-
Insect Repellent - During the summer
-
Small flashlight
-
Pliers - I keep a
Gerber Multi-Tool
-
A small Emergency kit - I made my own, learn
more about it HERE
-
Some cash
