From the Saddle Ridge equestrian area on the east side of the reservoir, horse riders have about 50 miles of trails to enjoy. There are four different loops of trail systems: NW blue trail, SE red trail, SW red trail, and the Outlet blue loop.

Camping for equestrian users is limited to the Saddle Ridge campground which offers 22 campsites with water and electric, and 12 more primitive camp spots.
