INSTRUCTIONS
to tie a
Double Fisherman's KNOT
Also
known as the grapvine knot, the double
fisherman's is commonly used to tie two ropes of
different diameters together. I use it most
frequently to create loops.
Safety:
Ropes and the
knots associated with rope, can be dangerous. If
improperly handled, or tied, ropes can kill and
you could be the victim! Always use rope with
care and inspect and test any knots you
tie. Respect ropes subject to a heavy load,
especially your own climbing rope. The danger
associated with ropes under load is often
learned by painful experience.
