Androscoggin Riverlands State Park

Day use only

Leeds, Maine

Lying near Maine's second largest urban area (Lewiston/Auburn), Androscoggin Riverlands State Park covers 2,675 acres in two expanses. The Turner Lands area is where the 12 miles of equestrian friendly trails are located.

More than half of Maine's population lives within an hour's drive of this park, which is the fifth largest in the State.

Between the end of snowmobiling season and May 15, the property is gated and only foot traffic allowed.

Turner Lands (2,345 acres) The larger of the Park's two sections spans 6 river miles of gently rolling land along the Androscoggin's western shore in Turner. Visitors on foot, bicycle, ATV or horses can enjoy about 12 miles of multi-use trails

Multi-Use Trail (9.5 miles one-way), a central spine down the Turner lands parcel, is popular among ATV users, snowmobilers, bicyclists, horseback riders, and hikers so be prepared for company on your ride.
