Trail Details
Start at Rattlesnake Lake and climb 2 miles
through a series of switchbacks to Rattlesnake Ledge overlooking your starting
point several hundreds of feet below.

The first half of the trek follows a well marked and
maintained trail that meanders through a mossy world of boulders and lichen
covered trees. As you continue your climb you'll have periodic
glimpses of Rattlesnake Lake growing smaller below you.
As you depart the lower reaches of the
mountain the trail remains wide and smooth but the forest changes into open
undergrowth and towering firs before you reach the very exposed Rattlesnake
Ledge.
