Monture Creek Campground

Lolo National Forest

Ovando, Montana

This campground is adjacent to the Monture Creek Trailhead. By trail, it is 16 miles by trail to the Bob Marshall Wilderness and 11 miles to the Scapegoat Wilderness.

4100-foot elevation. 5 campsites in a grassy open area with some trees are good for RV camping. Fishing in Monture Creek. Trails branch out all over the place here: 16 miles of horse riding will get you to Bob Marshall Wilderness or 11 miles to the Scapegoat Wilderness, among other destinations. Hitching post, stock loading ramp, and corral for horse packers.
