Tsali Recreation Area
With over 40 miles of trails open to horse and mule riders as well as camping in a beautiful location, Tasli has
everything that a rider could wish for within the Nantahala National Forest.

- Four main loop trails (Right Loop Trail, Left Loop Trail, Mouse Branch Loop Trail, and Thompson Loop Trail)
that wander through forests of mixed pine and hardwoods on a peninsula stretching into Fontana Lake.
- Mountain bikers and equestrians, the primary users of
this area, are kept separated by alternating use of the trails. A schedule is posted at all trailhead.
- The upper trailhead parking lot is reserved for horse
users. Facilities include a restroom, picnic tables, and
information boards.
- The Tsali Campground offers 42 campsites with showers and flush toilets, and are offered at this campground.
- Showers and Flush toilets available at the Tsali Campground from April 15- October 31
- Land Manager = Nantahala National Forest
