Cedar Lake Equestrian Camp

Cedar Lake Equestrian Camp, located in the Ouachita National Forest of southeast Oklahoma, is a very popular starting point for the Winding Stair Mountain Equestrian Trails, a 70-mile trail system of marked equestrian trails. The network of trail loops winds over hills and mountains through a variety of vegetation ranging from tall majestic pines to stately hardwoods and lush river bottoms. The equestrian camp offers 130 campsites for equestrians with amenities including corrals, restrooms with flush toilets and warm showers, curbside manure removal, horse wash racks, swim areas, fishing dock, boat ramps and more.

These trails are a network of loops that wind over hills and mountains and through a variety of vegetation from tall pines and hardwoods to river bottoms. The many loops offer riders the opportunity to decide the length of ride and type of experience desired. This camp is popular with endurance riders because of the many miles of trails.
