Cyrus Horse Camp

A newer ( built in 1990) high desert horse camp that sits within an old orchard that itself is located within in the middle of the Crooked River National Grasslands recreational area with Grey Butte to the south, and views of Haystack Reservoir to the north. The camp offers lot of room to park as well as easy riding, suitable for riders of all levels. Several endurance rides are held here each year.

Horse camping opportunities include five standard campsites, eight corrals, and a trail that leaves right from the campground. Each campsite will accommodate a horse trailer, picnic table etc. There are plenty of trees for high lines as well.

Centrally located are a vault toilet, manure pit, and stock water trough.
