From the Mt Hebo trailhead a rider can experience open mountain meadows, heavy forest, and a trail used by the first settlers into Tillamook County via access to the Pioneer-Indian Trail.

Horse trailer parking and trail entrance is located 0.6 miles east of Hebo Lake. Parts of the trail are within the Mt Hebo Special Interest Area with spectacular views of the mighty Pacific in the west and the Cascades in the east.

Please note that camping is prohibited in the Mt. Hebo Special Interest Area
