The Oak Flat Campground sits adjacent to the Illinois River in a mixture of forest and meadow. Nearby trails include the National Recreation Trail the Illinois River trail # 1161.
Amenities include corrals for horses and vault toilets
Ten dispersed camp sites are available
No fees and no reservations required
Gold Beach Ranger District-Siskiyou National Forest
From Gold Beach take County Road 595 and Forest Service Road 33 east along the Rogue River approximately 24 miles to County Road 450, follow 450 South 4 miles to Oak Flat Campground.
