Mohican- Memorial State Forest

Many recreational activities can be enjoyed at Mohican- Memorial State Forest. Well over 22 miles of bridle trails meander through the forest of native hardwoods of the oak-hickory and beech-maple types and connect to Malabar Farm State Park and to Pleasant Hill Lake and the Mohican State Forest Resort.

trails are generally well maintained single track and are multi use so plan on encountering hikers and bicyclists at times. Trail tread is mostly packed earth with a few rocks thrown in. Trails drain well in most areas Trail conditions during winter/wet weather can be muddy in some areas but relatively dry on slopes due to the fair drainage.

Trail Head facilities include ample parking in a grassy area and gravel lot. Horse water is available as are tie-ups, picnic tables, fire rings, and a pit toilet
