Maumee State Forest

You won't find picnic areas or other amenities within the forest, just 8 miles of trail in this day use area, located southeast of Toledo near Swanton, Ohio. Parts of the forest are adjacent to the Oak Openings MetroPark which does have excellent parking and facilities and it's easy to ride to the forest from there. Please be considerate and follow all LNT guidelines so that this area remains open to equestrian users.
