Hunter Horse Camp

With 8 sites, potable water and a vault toilet, the Hunter Horse Camp is a popular spot for equestrians and being only about 15 miles from Buffalo, it’s easy to get to.

In addition to the amenities listed above Hunter’s also offers corrals, hitch racks, and a campground host.

Best times to visit are early July through September.

Located in the Big Horn Mountains the local terrain includes many lakes and marsh areas. The Cloud Peak Wilderness is nearby.
