Bridle Trails is
500 acres of woodlands in the heart of
Washington suburbia where the cities of
Bellevue, Kirkland, and Redmond meet.
In addition of
over 23 miles of trails you'll find several
arenas, ample parking, water for your horses
and restrooms. There are three main trails
(Raven, Trillium, and Coyote) which are wide
and smooth enough to accommodate carts. For
horse back riders the remaining 17 miles of
unnamed, secondary, trails makes up the vast
majority of rising options.
Since the park
was designed for equestrian usage bicycles
are verboten and hikers and runners must
make way for horses on the trail. Bridle
Trails is the only park park west of the
Mississippi designed specifically for
equestrian use.

The park is located next to
Interstate 405 with the main entrance and
parking area easily accessed from 116th Ave
NE.
The only
downside to the central location of Bridle
Trails and the easy access
is that it also ensures that you'll be hearing vehicular
traffic from anywhere within the park.
