One of
Washington’s most popular attractions, more
than 1.5 million people a year visit
Snoqualmie Falls. While most visitors are
content to hear and feel the thunder of the
Snoqualmie River cascading 270 feet over the
falls from the observation deck, there is a
short (1.3 miles R/T) trail to the bottom of
the falls.
The trailhead
can be seen from observation deck and leads
you through forest, past a power generating
plant, and onto an elevated boardwalk. The
hike down is easy and you’ll feel the climb
back up.
Dogs are not
allowed on this trail so please leave Fido
at home.
Parking is
abundant and this trailhead also has its
very own gift shop and espresso bar.
