Allamuchy Mountain State Park

 

Equestrian trail riders looking for a challenge will find it here at the northern section of the Allamuchy State Park with 34 miles of day use trails ranging from easy to challenging on which to ride horses and mules.

What to Expect

• Restrooms facilities are available seasonally in the parking area.
• Day use riding only
• Limited parking - Room for only 1 or 2 truck / trailer rigs. Stay near the entrance of the lot, very limited room for turning especially if other vehicles are in the lot. Strongly recommend backing into parking area and keeping the trailers near the parking lot entrance.

Rules and Regulations

• Riders are responsible for cleaning up after their horses in parking areas.
