Fiskars Pack Saw

When a wilderness trail gets rough and your way is blocked by by branch and tree you have a choice; turn back or cut your way through. The Fiskars Pack Saw makes short work of any downed trees or branches that are foolish enough to even consider barring your way.

Many times while trail riding you'll encounter blow down on the trail. Making a habit of carrying a pack saw on every ride will go a long way toward keeping you on the trail. The Fiskars 18" Pack Saw is a good general purpose saw that cuts on the pull making it easy to use for any rider. The smallish size of the saw also makes it easy to attach to your saddle and easy for anyone to use.

While there are many different ways to attach a saw to your saddle many riders find it preferable to tie with the pack saw handle to the rear and with the blade under the leg. Regardless of how to choose to hang the saw, remember to offset the added weight of the saw with be placing heavier items in your saddlebags or pommel bags on the opposite side.
