Tomlinson Run State Park
Located at the extreme tip of West Virginia's northern panhandle, Tomlinson Run
provides about 10 miles of trails for equestrian riding opportunities in the park. Roughly
divided into two sections, the park offers a wilderness area of heavily forested hills, overhanging cliffs
of sandstone and shale, and a profusion of wildflowers and fauna.

- Day use only - No overnight camping for horse riders
- About 10 miles of horse and mule friendly trails
- The main day use horse parking area is along the main access just west of the mini golf course in a large open field.
- Land Manager = West Virginia State Parks
- Horses may not be tied to trees or picket lines and use of pens is not permitted.
Located in the northern panhandle 19 miles north of Weirton on WV Rt. 2, Tomlinson Run State Park
is easily accessible by taking WV 8, north, where it intersects with WV 2 at New Cumberland, and following
signs to the park which is just north of New Manchester, WV.
