Buffalo River State Trail

 

Over 36 miles of wide, flat, and straight trail make this former railroad corridor perfect for young or inexperienced horses. 34 wooden bridge crossings and nearby traffic will offer a bit of challenge.

What to Expect

• The trail is wide enough to accommodate horse drawn carts and carriages.
• The trail runs between Mondovi to Fairchild.
• Trails may be closed due to wet conditions.

• Land Manager = Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources
• You must possess a valid state trail pass when riding here.
