- Over 39 miles of equestrian trails
- The New Prospect Horse Riders Campground offers 22 family campsites and three group sites.
- Each camp site has a picnic table, fire ring and a 30-by-30-foot graveled area with picket posts
- The camp area has a drinking water source, an open air picnic shelter, vault toilet, covered stable with 24 box stalls, and manure pits.
- The main bridle trail winds around the forest for 33 miles. Two loop trails, Crooked and Forest Lake, provide shorter routes totaling 6 miles.
- Land Manager = Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources
- A state trail pass is required for all people age 16 or older when horseback riding on trails
- Trails are traditionally open late April through mid November depending on trail conditions.
- Current negative Coggins test is required to cross state lines.
