What to Expect

  • This is a very popular destination point for riding and camping as such reservations are highly recommended.
  • Trail terrain is varied with high scenic bluffs, narrow valleys, and steep hills.
  • The horse camp has 24 sites with corral, potable water, and toilets

Rules and Regulations

  • Land Manager = Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources
  • Horses cannot be picketed or tied to trees
  • Campground is open May 1st through November 1st

From Ontario, go east on State Highway 33 for 2 miles. The road to the canoe landing and Hemlock Trail will be on your right, and the road to the rest of the park will be just ahead on your left.
