Wild Goose State Trail
Horses are welcomed on this 14 mile equestrian pathway along an abandoned Chicago and Northwestern railroad corridor. The
equestrian section of the Wild Goose Trail lies between Highway 60 and Pautsch Road (about four miles north of the community of Burnett) in Dodge County.

- The horse trail winds through wooded and open areas in the right-of-way of the Wild Goose Trail.
- Trail terrain is generally easy riding; however, special caution is necessary in areas with steep side slopes, wet crossings and near highways and roads.
- Trail surface is grass, dirt and wood chips.
- Parking and portable toilet facilities are available at the HWY 60 trail head and Minnesota Junction area just north of HWY 33.
- Land Manager = Dodge County Land Resources and Parks
- Horses are not allowed on the limestone surfaced trail except at designated horse trail crossings.
