HUGE open equestrian parking with pull through spaces along the side- no apparent water or electricity in equestrian area but highline posts and area to set up hotwire pens, etc. Stay to the right when turning into the camp area. The ride along the Yakima River is pretty - needs shoes as much is sharp gravel. Along the river is very easy, just rocky. Great early season ride. It is about 4 miles along the river to Rattlesnake Hills trail head. We only rode partway up due to going left (to locked gate) when we should have stayed right and lack of conditioning.
