Made the loop from Silver Ridge Ranch to the Easton Ridge trail #1212, to trail #1308 to the Silver Creek Tie trail #1308A to the Kachees Ridge trail #1315 and then back to camp, at the recommendation of Silver Creek Ridge Management, as we were looking for something longer and more challenging than the trails on the ranch. These trails are shown and identified on the maps provided by Silver Ridge Ranch.I may have been on a steeper, more physically demanding, more dangerous trail somewhere in my 60 years of trail riding but I certainly do not know where! As we came to intersections, as we climbed towards South Peak on the 1308, we saw signs saying "No Stock" on the portion we had just finished, but no prohibitions on the next section. The signs were old, faded and not easy to spot, but they were there. It was the same at every intersection until we got to the 1315. The next day we returned to the beginning of the 1212 and say a "No Horses" sign on a tree that had been hidden in the shadows the day before. I mentioned to the management that the trails were posted "no Horses" and they said that they were unaware of that and that it must have been so designated since they had ridden them. The Kachees Ridge trail #1315 portion I rate as "Moderate". The 1315 follows Silver Creek and for the most part is of moderate grade, excellent footing and beautiful scenery.
