Started at the ODFW Minam River access, 1.2 miles SW of Minam on Hwy82. First day rode to Red's Horse Ranch, 22 mi, pretty easy no big climbs, mostly follows pre wilderness road - now single track. Second day; continued up Minam River to Elk Creek, 17 mi, and camped in meadow 1/4 mile down river from Elk Creek Bridge, stayed two nights. Third day; day trip up Elk Creek to Tombstone Lake, 12.5 mi, some pretty good pulls up the hill and some narrow, rocky trail. Excellent views. Only difficult riding of the trip.Fourth day; Rode out to Tupan, 16 mi.
