Submitted by Difficulty: Distance: 7.96 On this ride you travel along the top of a ridge for a few miles looking out over the Baptist camp area then you decend down the side to the Current river just below the Baptist camp area to a nice sand bar where you cross to the other side of the river and ride through a cedar grove. If you want a longer ride there are other trails that continue further down the river. Or you can cross at Parker Ford crossing and continue back to the campground. You will Ride past The old Nichols Cabin and then you will cross Shaffer springs several times before you get to the lakes. This ride probably has the most change in elevation of all the rides.
