Ramona Grasslands and Winery ride

This IS a partially URBAN ride. There is some riding on residential streets. The Grasslands loop is all wilderness and is a beautiful (green right now) ride through oak woodland, grassland and coastal sage scrub terrain. Elevation gains/losses limited to about 150 feet at any one point. We have both Golden and Bald Eagles nesting in the area - you may be lucky enough to see one! 6-8 obstacles planned over about seven miles, including riding past some of our local wineries. Most have hitching posts and you may have time to stop for a taste! Terrain is not rocky; horses accustomed to going barefoot should not have issues doing so at this ride.
