20 miles of single and wide marked horse trails. Campsites have picnic tables, fire rings and a highlines for the horses. There is an outhouse and a newly drilled well  with an electric pump and a hand pump, all water is potable.

These trails offer hours of quiet, relaxing riding through some of Marinette County’s beautiful forest.  These trails are single and double width, well-marked, and easy to follow.

  • Overnight camping requires a Marinette County Forestry sticker. See Rules and Regulations tab.
  • Please print off trail map before arriving.
  • Check the kiosk at the trailhead for any updates.
  • Camping is primitive – no electricity
  • No reservations.  First come First serve
  • Please keep parking/camping/trail areas cleaner than when you arrived – Throw manure deep into the woods.
  • Donation boxes at trailheads.  Money is used for camping/trail enhancements.

Day riding is free.  Overnight camping at Middle Inlet Camp requires a Marinette County Equestrian permit/sticker which is available at:  www.marinettecountywi.gov/departments/forestry-br/general-information/permits/ .    Make sure you get the “EQUESTRIAN” sticker.  This yearly permit is valid also at Horseshoe Falls Equestrian Camp and Trails.

ATV’s and UTV’s are ONLY allowed on Forest Road 901 and Forest Road 902.  They are NOT allowed in camp or on trails.
