Horse riders and campers will enjoy the well maintained trails that loop and twist above White Mound Lake.

The horseĀ campground (typically open May 24 to November 1) offers 7 campsites, all with electric and … water hook-ups. There are also 2 ADA accessible campsites-Ā HorseĀ Campsite 04 andĀ HorseĀ Campsite 05

The park has completely redone their horse camp to include updated pit toilets, gravel back in driveways, water and electric at each site,Ā  corrals and brand new hitching posts. Its very nice place for a day ride or weekend camping. Plus there is also fishing, kayak n paddleboard rentals, rental of the convention center year round, swim area by the beach, 2 playgrounds.
