13 miles of wide, dirt and gravel bridle trails crisscross the northern section of the park.
Fun Fact about Rock Creek – President Theodore Roosevelt had a horse riding accident here on June 2, 1908. When climbing the creek bank on a green horse the horse reared and toppled backward.
