From Minneapolis/St. Paul (Approx. 4.5–5 hours) Take I-35 North toward Duluth. Exit onto MN-33 North, then follow US-53 North toward Virginia. Take US-169 North to MN-1 East, then follow WI-77 East into Hurley. Continue east on US-2 to Wakefield, MI. Turn left on Indianhead Road and follow signs to Snowriver Mountain Resort. From Milwaukee/Madison (Approx. 5–6 hours) Take I-94 West toward Madison. Continue on US-51 North toward Wausau. Follow US-51 to WI-70 West, then merge onto WI-77 West. At Hurley, head east on US-2 into Wakefield, MI. Turn left on Indianhead Road and follow signs to Snowriver Mountain Resort. From Chicago (Approx. 6.5–7 hours) Take I-94 West toward Milwaukee. Continue onto I-43 North toward Green Bay. Merge onto US-51 North toward Wausau. Follow US-51 to WI-70 West, then take WI-77 West. At Hurley, head east on US-2 into Wakefield, MI. Important Information
– Dates Available: Spring through the end of October
– Waivers: All riders must sign a liability waiver before riding.
– Coggins Test: Please present proof of a current negative Coggins test at check-in (digital or paper copy accepted).
– Ride at Your Own Risk: Helmets are strongly encouraged.
– Equine Lodging Nights: Must match the number of guest lodging nights.
– Day Riders: Day trail passes available for $20 per rider. A signed waiver is required.
Etiquette & Rules
– Park trailers in designated areas only.
– Keep stall/pen areas clean; clean and remove all manure & hay before departure (clean bedding can be left). Dirty stalls will incur a $100 cleaning fee.
– Dispose of manure only in designated locations. There is a manure pile next to the stalls.
– Stay on marked trails and ride at your own risk.
– Avoid creating pass-arounds or riding through muddy sections.
In Case of Emergency
– Dial 911 (cell service may be limited).
– We recommend carrying radios for communication.
