This is a trail ride facility that also offers horse camping. It is located roughly 60 kms west of Thunder Bay ON. It has a couple cabins that can be rented with small paddocks. Cabins are very rustic can sleep 6. Bring your own bedding. Outhouses and outdoor shower. Barbeque provided with each cabin.
There are endless miles of trails to explore. There are looped trails for the day rider and as it borders on crown land there are miles of logging roads and interconnecting trails.
Riding the trails is free. There is a rental fee for the cabin and corral use. You can camp on the crown land for free. The owner of the trail riding facility is happy to show you the trails. Please respect the area by not littering, cleaning up your campsite and if you smoke put your butts in a can to prevent forest fires. Also check local fire hazard to see if any fire bans are in effect. Take your garbage with you when you leave.
