These trails offer hours of quiet, relaxing riding through some of Marinette County’s beautiful forest.  These trails are single and double width, well-marked, and easy to follow.

All road work has been completed. Access to the camp and trails is restored!

  • Overnight camping requires a Marinette County Forestry sticker. See Rules and Regulations tab.
  • Please print off trail map before arriving.
  • Check the kiosk at the trailhead for any updates.
  • Cell phone usage is limited.
  • Camping is primitive – no electricity
  • No reservations.  First come First serve
  • Please keep parking/camping/trail areas cleaner than when you arrived – Throw manure deep into the woods.
  • Donation boxes at trailheads.  Money is used for camping/trail enhancements.

Day riding is free.  Overnight camping at Horseshoe Falls requires a Marinette County Equestrian permit/sticker, which is available at:  www.marinettecountywi.gov/departments/forestry-br/general-information/permits/ .   Make sure you get the “EQUESTRIAN” sticker.   This yearly permit is valid also at Middle Inlet Horse Camp and Trails.

ATV’s and UTV’s are NOT allowed on roads, in camp, or on trails.
